Transfer School Guidelines

Transfer GPA

  • Bachelor of Science in General Science – 2.25
  • Doctor of Chiropractic – 2.75 if a bachelor’s degree was completed. 3.0 if non-degreed. If GPA is less than 2.75, ask about the Alternative Admissions Track Plan.

Minimum college credits to apply as transfer student

  • Bachelor of Science in General Science – 45 including 24 credits in life and physical sciences with half of the courses having a lab.
  • Doctor of Chiropractic – If non-degreed, 90 credits including 30 at upper division (the 30 may be completed with Palmer or another institution).

Application deadlines

  • Bachelor of Science in General Science – Apply at least six (6) months prior to the start of the term. All application forms must be on file at least four (4) weeks prior to the start of the term.
  • Doctor of Chiropractic – Applications accepted at any time. Recommend submitting at least one (1) year prior to start term.

Follow the AS degree curriculum in the agreement to complete the first two years of the Bachelor of Science in General Science (B.S.G.S.).

  • Completing the B.S.G.S. positions the student to apply to the Doctor of Chiropractic.
