Agreements & Special Programs

Articulation Agreement

A completed Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree and 2.0 GPA satisfy the majority of SAU general education requirements.

  • Up to 64 semester credits may be transferred and applied toward the bachelor’s degree.

Black Hawk Scholarship

Up to $20,000 per year of undergraduate studies at SAU. For students transferring directly from BHC to SAU.

  • Must enroll full time at SAU and select an in-person undergraduate program.

Dual Admission Program & Scholarship 

Access to transfer advising and early transfer admission orientation programs. Receive a St. Ambrose student ID allowing access to SAU activities, clubs, events, and facilities. Eligible for a $1,000 scholarship when full-time studies begin at SAU.

  • Complete dual admission application before completing 30 credits at BHC; maintain 2.0 GPA.
  • Enroll as a transfer student at SAU within three academic years of signing an intent for Dual Admission.

Guaranteed Admission Agreement

Guaranteed admission to the university to complete a bachelor’s degree (choice of major not guaranteed).

  • Graduated from high school or completed a GED, and completed 12 transferable college credits.
  • Participate in the admission program for at least a year before or upon completing 30 credits at BHC.
  • Maintain 2.0 GPA on all course work from all colleges attended.
  • Enroll as a transfer student at SAU within three years of initial BHC enrollment.
